The Little Chute Career Pathways Academy mission is to engage students to be problem solvers and self-motivated adults with the communication skills and academic aptitude to succeed in their desired post-secondary career. Our goal is to provide high quality academic AND career preparation. When our students graduate, we want them prepared to meet the demands that leaders in the academic and business worlds have identified as being crucial to success.
Student success will be judged on the mastery of criteria that meet the Wisconsin state standards for high school graduation. The Academy’s rigorous core curriculum requires all students to complete three credits of mathematics, three credits of science, four credits of English, and three and a half credits of social studies. In addition to having access to our innovative core curriculum, Little Chute Career Pathways Academy students also have the opportunity to complete the following advanced coursework:
Project Lead The Way Bio-Medical Sciences and Engineering Courses
Advanced Placement Statistics
Advanced Placement Calculus
Advanced Placement Language
Advanced Placement Literature
Coursework is enriched through partnerships and internships with local businesses, health care providers, local colleges and universities. Classroom work takes place in the school, out in the field and in the world of a student’s chosen career pathway. At the Academy a student’s learning will be rooted in workshops, seminars, job shadowing, internships, and community initiatives. No other high school offers the level of career exploration that is available for all students at Little Chute Career Pathways Academy.
